Babies hands and feet can be cast in solid bronze.
A special chance to capture their tiny beauty forever. This can be the whole foot, whole hand or just an imprint.
The casting is a careful and skilful procedure. A mould is made in a soft water-based rubber which sets in under 3 minutes.
This gives an immaculate print with each tiny detail being captured.
From the mould a bronze is cast in the same way as casting a traditional sculpture via the lost-wax process. Each wax is further finished to ensure an exact replica is achieved.
The bronze is patinated (coloured) to any of the similar finishes for sculpture, ranging from warm brown, dark brown to green.
Each edition is numbered and the museum-quality bronze is finally mounted on a marble or wooden plinth.
